Demon carb and Clifford adapter - IT (JUST) FIT!!!

Here is my new setup:

Looking for any feedback on how I can pretty up my linkage - it works, but is pretty ugly.

Still need to set the float level and the jet(s), will read the booklet tomorrow...but I can already tell I'm not choking my 250 anymore, it's running pretty smooth and seems a good deal peppier.

Oh hey, I do have another question besides the linkage - right now the vacuum to my distributor comes off a little fitting on the intake manifold. I have a stock distrib but with the Ignitor II and Flamethrower II coil (think the coil is a II)...would it make any difference if I instead ran to one of the carb's vacuum connections?

If you can score a cable throttle bracket off a mid-70s Maverick, it will align your cable pull directly to the carb without any bellcranks or rods. It brings the cable right across the top of the valve cover.
