I'm looking at supercharging my 250, but depending on what extras i need depends how quick it happens. I am mostly wondering about ignition and fuel supply.
If i do a draw thru setup, would 2 bone stock progressive 2bbls work without rejetting? I plan to put the induction tubes at the 2nd and 4th cylinder for more even fuel distribution. If the 2 stock progressive 2bbls work then i'm happy. I'm running into problems looking for fuel pumps and regulators, etc... i'm hoping for the most effective method on a budget, i really dont want to spend 300 bucks on a pump and regulator and another few hundred for timing retart modules and all these other goodies. I plan to run about 7 PSI boost on a stock engine. Its pretty fepressing looking at the prices of things i think i need to buy, but if i can get away with just having to buy the supercharger, carbs and the metal fabrication it would be fine. Basically i dont want to spend more than $250.00 on extra stuff aside from the supercharger. anyone have some ideas?
