After getting the headers, where would you find the rest of the exhaust to make a 68 mustang dual exhaust? Is it me or is it hard to find?

They are out there from Hemmings as a new installation. See http://www.hemmings.com/images/pdfs/BrandaShe_63512.pdf

Cost 289 bucks for a 2" Shelby 289-302-351W-428 67-68-69 set, plus extra for UPS shipping.

Just group a dual out FSPP header into two and let everything else remain stock. 2" is a good size for a six.

Other options.

and this will bolt right up to the dual headers I can get off of this website? Or is there more fabrication?

You could do like I did, but it would be easier for you since you have a '68. I used a partial exhaust system off a '68 390 GT. I used the passsenger side pipes, the muffler and exhaust outlets. It has 2" pipes, so I liked that part also. I did have to fabricate a 16" piece to hook it to the headers and weld the driver side inlet shut. This was a 2 in 2 out system, now it is 1 in 2 out. The muffler hangs between the differential and the fuel tank like stock. Look at my web page near the bottom.

I still think that a shop is the best bet. I got the pacemakers from Mike, two Flomaster 50's and a pir of Mustang GT exhaust trumpets. When the vert gets to that stage I'm just going to mount the header, throw the rest into the trunk, and take it to the pros. I want them to make me an X pipe anyway, because NOBODY makes one in a 2" size.

This is from 'Mustang Geezers' website and it is for an earlier coupe, but I like looking at it, very nice and very clean install. It shows how he routed the pipes out of the header, I imagine it will be pretty close to what you are looking for?

just click on his "FSPP header and exhaust install"

Hope the Geez' don't mind me sharing his work.
