Dual Muffler Inlet/Outlet configuration

I've decided on Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow mufflers on the 65 vert, and I'm trying to figure out what inlet and outlet configuration I should use. Should I just go for center in/out or would it be better to use an offset on either the inlet, outlet or both? I'm not sure what layout would fit the best.

I have herd of a few guys using the 1 in 2 out Camero/Firebird flow master to get dual exhaust. Not sure where they mount it on the car though. Make the 6 sound more throaty.

hotrodbob, Actually I was talking about the inlet and outlet offset. I won't be use a dual outlet muffler, but 2 mufflers with a single outlet each.

I have 50 series in a 65 vert, so maybe i can help. They are 2" inlet/outlet with no offsets. Seems to work fine. I'll try to take a picture of how they sit this weekend when I get my car off the floor to remove the rear end. It is also what came with the 65 mustang kit from Mustang's unlimited, so I figure they already did fitment work.

Plus, I like the no offset in the rear as it gives a cool look on the mufflers from the back.
