hey tbirdchick. your best bet for a 2bbl carb is use a holley two barrel. they might be harder to find but the rock right on by the the autolite carb. also, i think the 1101's are a load-o-matic carb. try a 1904 holley carb. hey fiddy, didn't you use the 1904's in a dual or triple setup?

i had about 7 or 8 of them 1904's. . . from all i read and heard from 215slowpoke, they dont work well in a group.

there were about a million variations of the "1904" carb and unless you have three exactly matched carbs you're wasting your knuckle skin

The deal is that I want to go with a single 2bbl with an adaptor plate until we fab an intake or I find a cheap Clifford. Other than the cool factor, multiple carbs can really be a PITA to keep in tune. I'd thought about a 4412 Holley. But the 2100's were made in various CFM ratings and were even used on late '60s 429s. Plus, they're cheaper.... I just need to figure out the various CFM ratings so I can buy the right one.

That CFM info is usually floating around on the site here. Failing a search, a post in the "Small Sixes" will usually expose it.

Cheers, Adam.

Thanks, Adam. I think I figured it out from an AMC site...of all things, but will check here too. According to that site, a 1.23 Autolite is about 350-360 CFM which should be about right for my mild 223. But I'll do some checking here too to be sure.

Hey Jan,

Here is the post by Mr Schjeldahl:

Between that info and your other source, there should be some workable similarities!

Regards, Adam.

Thanks, Adam... :) This post is a valuable resourse for anyone considering a 2100! I'm definitely emailing the link to myself for quick reference. This info also proves that fiddy four's theory of 1.5 CFM per cube is pretty close.

Gotta say, FordSix is a great site with so many helpful members.
