I am looking for duraspark wiring harnesses from the distributor to module,to coil & to vehicles wiring for supply of power. the application would be a 78-82 ford fairmount & or possibly other models. Does any supplier offer the female connectors between the distributor & module & from the module to the vehicle wiring harness that power the system??
I have checked several junk yards in my area to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. William

Jack thanks for the reply. That will expand my search for the needed harness. Bill

Here are the ford motorsport part numbers for the ford blade connectors

PART # DESP
M-14464-B300 duraspark II Ign module 3 blade 14 ga wire
M-14464-B400 duraspark II Ign module 4 blade 14 ga wire
M-14464-B500 duraspark distributor 3 blade 14 ga wire

Each one of these numbers is a pack of 5 male and 5 female connectors.
There are part numbers for 10 ga wire connectors B310,B410 andB510

Its a longshot but it might help

Jim, thanks a lot, I will check if the part #'s are still available. William

Jim, these part #s are no longer available according to my local ford dealer. thanks anyway. I may just cut off the connectors & make a direct harness as necessary.
Anyone out there have a duraspark harness?? William

If your making a harness, take a look at the towing connectors at your local auto parts store. I used them to make a nice water resistant harness.
You may also want to splurge for the connectors with an integrated heat shrink. Lowes has a good deal on them.

I've ordered everything I need to change to DSII w/ MSD, BUT NOBODY has the MSD8869 in stock. Summit, autozone,jegs.. you name it I can't find someone with this adapter. They all list it online, but when you call to place your order, they aren't available. Does anybody know for sure if a certain supplier has these adapters in stock, for a quick fix. My msd stuff is coming from summit in the next couple days, and I really want to get the dist in and running soon. thanks for your help in locating these.

You did not find any in the yard? I know we live on opposite coasts, but the junkyards in my area are teeming with 70's and 80's ford cars with duraspark. I just went last week and easily came upon a granada with better harnesses than the ones I got from an 81 stang a few weeks ago.
I wasn't even looking, and I happily snagged it.

I have to go back today, I need a C4, so I'll keep an eye out for any harnesses. If I find any you can have 'em for free.

Bill;
I'm using a harness (and DII module)I pulled from a late-1970's T-Bird (351W engine). It has the extra wire in it for the manifold vacuum sensor that adds +4 degrees spark advance under high-vacuum conditions. Before I found a vacuum sensor, I just ran it without the sensor connected and everything was fine.
