Ready to do the conversion. Purchased all new parts from NAPA (79 Fairmont). My questions is this, is there an intermediary plus or harness between the distributor and the control module? Both the distributor and the modules have female plugs.

They both have male plugs.

yes there is. you can make a new one with some spade conectors pretty easily.

Thanks, can you buy them aftermarket, or Ford dealer. If not I'll try the wrecking yard or make one.

You might try looking in the "Help" section at your local parts store. Don't know if they have them or not, but it's worth a shot.
