DYNO RESULTS 7/29/05 MRALEY 66 MUSTANG

Your exactly right. We are using the stock jets. In fact it performed well out of the box. The only changes he made was to make the flow a little richer and might increase it again as it cools down. The only issue now is that it is really cold natured. There is no heat going into the manifold to assist with warming the engine. I also noticed last night it seems to run a little hotter on the temp gauge then before. It never boiled over. I am thinking about adding an electric fan to assist with the cooling.

I was using a clifford adapter with my old set up. The throttle response is so much better with the Holley 350!!

I really appreciate your input and comments. I wrestled with this carb issue for about a month before deciding on the 350. It seems that about 1/2 of the members here agree that a Holley 500 would be a better choice, but the mechanic really pushed to keep the 350. Anyway, I'm glad to hear some suppport from your side of the world!!! Thanks Michael

I saw that someone had their intake hot coated? What if you have a stock log is there in your opinion any positive to having the head/log hot coated?

Regards,
Dave
