they are a press fit so it does not matter. arp studs come with nuts to suit the bolts as well, so it doesnt matter if they are metric or imperial.
i use 3.2lt 6.27" conrods in my 250 with arp 302w studs and all is fine.cheers..
id use brand new ford ones they are good for 400hp i got some last year since iv gone a different way i used scat chev rods instead and i stroked the cranks
XEturbo, I am intruiged about the use of chev rods. I just finished writing another post going on about how they are too narrow for the 1" wide crank journal (0.991" swide big end on the rod) Chev is like 0.896" wide from memory.
Did you have the crank jornals welded up and reground or buy unfinished rods or something?
The cranks been offset ground, the conrods are Scat h beam and there are longer than the standard 250units and im using a custom chev piston with a huge dish
