when i inject the 250 would a late model falcon ecu be ok to begin or would i be better off just going for a microtech/hawk/wold/ems/motech? or any other suggestions?

dont even consider using the factory ecu. DEF 100 percent go microtek $1150 all up with hand controler. The factory one will take ages just to get around the smark lock side of it, theres a shit load of pins in the late model ford ecu, and this ecu works in conjunction with the smart lock computer and bcm ( body control moudule). It would be possible to use the late model ecu but by the time u paid some one to wire it all up and TUNE it the aftermarket system will be heaps cheaper and a beter result in the end.
