electric fan mounting

i was pondering whether to mount my 16 derale as pusher or a puller? i believe i have the clearance either way. i am dealing with ungodly rust issues right now, but trying to plan ahead. thanks a lot.

A puller is more efficient, so go that route if you have the space.

it's true, a puller is better. I, however didn't have the room, not sure how you do. My 16" HAD to be mounted as a pusher. It works great as such.

Mounting my electric as a pusher..I have NO room between radiator and engine for a puller fan.

thanks again for the input lagrasta did you use the short or long shaft water pump? i am using the standard 2 two row rad. my measurements could be off... wouldn't be the first time. also, i have not bought the brackets to swap to an alternator from the gen. i may discover i am in a cluster when bolt up time comes thanks again
