Exhaust port divider?

I'm getting ready to put a '78 200 into my '61 Falcon. Is the exhaust port divider still one of the "must haves" when contemplating performance increases? I know that I can tack weld it in place wiht the engine on the engine stand - much less inclined to pull the head later to do so.

Is Clifford the only source? I looked to see if our web host was offering such a part but did not see such an item.

You'll find a lot of conflicting views on how much it actually does. If chosen, correct installation is a must. This means either brazing, physical locking in (set screws/steel dowel etc) or TIG...

IIRC, Autokrafters also sell them.
