Exhaust

I have a 67 six and the exhaust flange keeps coming out and it looks kinda burnt up and it making the car really loud and when I changed it the car sounded it great and ran better but after a while it comes back out I wondered if anyone was having that problem

I also wondered if you needed to weld it in or what

I assume you mean the exhaust manifold bolts are backing out? If that is what you are referring too...yes, it is a common problem. Most people get locking hexhaust bolts. Lock washer will not do the trick, you'll have to retighten them every few months.
