EXHAUSTing opinions

I will be installing a Clifffy 6-2 header on my stang and I would like your opinions on what size and style exhaust system to use with it. I presently have a fairly new stock 1 3/4 system on the car, what are the pros and cons of staying with it or should I up the size and or go to a dual exhaust. Thanks for your input.

A 2 1/4" single or a dual 2" (stock V8) would be better performance choices, but you should still feel an increase in power with the old 1 3/4" system just because of the headers.
