Ive read some of 66Sprint6's posts, and have decided I'm going with an FSSP header and a Flow40 as a replacement to my stock, wheezing exhaust. *(this after the Duraspark II, H/W 5200 upgrades)*

My question is this: My Meineke man is willing to do the job for me, but neither he, nor I know anything other than how the stock route for my '66 mustang exhaust is. He asked me how I wanted it routed when I install the header, but I honestly dont know.
The muffler of course is laterally mounted next to the gas tank. Anybody got a sketch or a text description of how to go from the header backward.

Where should the muffler sit/mount when he does this..Any tricks or tips on where to bend the pipe, etc. would be appreciated.

Single out, or dual out, and routing descriptions for both if possible, and which setup is preferred.

Matt/66Sprint6, U got a PM

Thanks everyone, Kelly

See if you can get a hold of Okefenokee Comet (Don). He put full duals in his car and took very detailed pictures of the install after several requests. He may have also posted them at one time.

Regards, Adam.

I PMed ya back, let me know if you didnt get it. Basically, put the mufflers in the little pocket under the rear seats. They ought to fit, my mufflers di just fine!

Easy...make it like the GT mustangs. They had dual exhaust. That's what I did with mine. I bought a GT kit and just had the local exhaust shop fab between the headers and the rear sections of the kit.
