i try not to reuse old bolts i take off my car when im replacing the parts, so are there any specific bolts to use when replacing the factory bracing with an export brace?

Look for cad plated UNC Grade 5s, and use cad flat washers with nylocs.

Also, get new upper shock bracket bolts. More then likely, You'll have to partially destroy yours to get them out. THey are carriage bolts that tend to round out very quickly.

Slade, are you talking about the brackets that attach to the top of the shock tower and the shocks themselves? If so, do you know the diameter and length for those bolts?

AMK has them. THat's where I got mine. I don't have the measurements.

i wound up going to the hardware store and got grade 5 bolts for the cowl and found carriage bolts i get home and the head on the carraige bolt if to tall by a very small ammount so i think im just going to grind the head down a little
