Extrudehone for log head?

I know it's way too expensive, but it seems to me Extrudehone might be a way to improve flow since we can't get into the manifold. Has anyone had the testicular fortitude to write that big a check for a few cubic feet of air flow?

I already have an OZ head. The Extrudehone question was just curiosity.

Extrude hone would be the way to do it. It would be even nicer on an OZ head, but you are right: That always seemed to me like a ton of money for squirting a bunch of toothpaste through a hole. Especially since you could get close to the same performance numbers for a couple hundred dollars worth of professional porting (or DIY 8) ) I guess on the ultimate performance engine it would be worth it, but there are so many things you could do to these engines with that money that it just doesn't make sense.

Just pop the welch plugs out of the ends of the log and make a flapper on a long rod, modify some wheel cylinder hones (with lots of extra stone and grits)and bead hones. Then sit back put in a good movie and have at it. AUTOH I JUST GAVE AWAY ONE OF MY SECRETS.
