F/S LPG setup and 5 speed

Hi there everyone.

been ages since ive been here.

Selling my LPG setup and 5 speed.

LPG stuff is:
APA tank (holds 80lt) and has about 5yrs left on it
Century converter
GasResearch carb/throttlebody
offers around $500

The 5 speed is a steel case celica box and comes with bellhousing, clutch, tailshaft, modified crossmember and speedo cable
offers around $400

OR i'll Sell the lot for $800.

has someone confirmed that they got the gas grant using second hand gear?

im unsure about the 'grant' side of it.

im only selling cause im going a new setup with the car and need the cash now.

Is the bellhousing for the early bolt pattern 144-200, or the later 200-250 engines??, do you have any pics??

the bell is a 250 one, so not sure if it will fit other blocks? anyone?

It'll fit from the XR 170/200, through to the last XF 200s and 250s. That includes then, the 188 and 221 blocks.

FYI, the bellhousing alone costs $350 new...

Hey,I have the Corona\Celica 4 speed in my Cortina at the moment. Just out of interest, does the speedo read correctly with the cable setup that you have? If so, was it luck or how did you go about doing it?
Did you make the tailshaft or get it balanced or something?
The reason I ask is because the one I made vibrates a fair bit at 110km/h and because I can't get my speedo to read correctly(it reads low). It would be great to know how you solved these problems.

the speedo unfortunatly was about 10km/h out from memory. the speedo worked fine and the needle never jumped etc, but think cause of the wheels, new box and basically std speedo setup, of course it was going to be a little bit out.

There is a place here in newcastle that make new speedo gears and little boxs that ensure the correct speed, i cant remember their name but can do some research and possibly find out easy enuf.

BTW, the Gearbox is SOLD.... Still have the LPG stuff which i need to sell ASAP
