For Sale 250 Pre Xflow

Hey guys ive got a Pre Xflow from a XW Falcon. One owner. Complete minus flywheel and starter. Good runner been sitting for 6 months and needs to go.

221 or 188? XW didn't get the 250.

Hmmm It was sold to me as a 250. Has a red rocca cover and had a 3 speed on the tree behind it. Mightve been out of a XY i cant remember and have never used the motor.

So if its a 221/188 how do i tell?

Count the water pump bolts - easiest way. Four bolts is a 250 or long rod 200. Three is a 221 or 188.

What's the block code? Look for ARD1DA-6015-A or something like that on the block side.

Brambles red "rocca" cover is 250. Three bolts on water pumps just means earlier six, not neccesarily a 188-221.
From memory all pre 71 sixes have the same water pump.

OK its a four bolt water pump and the block number is ARDIDE6015A.
Im pretty cofident its a 250, looks very similar to a 200 oit of a TC ive got lying around. Cheers

Definitely an XY motor; could be a 200 or 250 as block was the same.
