I was wondering if you have a picture of your engine and belt layout?

Is a 2 grove crank pulley correct for that application?

The 65 has a single crank damper with another cast pulley for a total of two.
The 68 has a double damper with an added pulley for the p/s.

I will try to get some pics.

Stubby's right. Mine has the add-a-pulley (that I took off until I get my fan interference situation fixed). So no A/C for me until I get an electric fan.

I was gonna take some pics, but the batteries are dead. :x
I will get some pics.
I would also like to add the fact that the early a/c bracket looks like crap. It looks cheesy, like it was welded in the back yard. The brackets off of the 68 are cast and smooth. 8) The 68 has a double crank pulley, water pump pulley, alt pulley, and an added pulley for the p/s, which I am not using.

Here is a 65.

This is the 68 bracket installed.

I am using the 65 single crank pulley with the cast iron second pulley, it fits well and aligns perfect. The 68 double water pump pulley. The 65 single alt pulley, I forgot to change it while it was apart.

This bracket will work with any of the pulleys and it is a cleaner install. When I get the Sanden comp installed, it will be nice.

And YES, that is a six where there was a V8. 8)

The first six I accuired was for my son and it had AC. When he finally trashed the car beyond repair, I scavanged his basic AC equipment. There was a cast iron pulley that pressed on over the harmonic balancer and a two groove steel pulley that ran the AC which was on a heavey steel bracket like pictured in the ebay link in the above posting. Even though I have never added the air to mine, I still run the double pulley just in case I decide to do it in the future. About a year ago I mounted it on a grinder shaft and did a high polish to it then clear coated it. Not bad looking and cheper than having it chromed.
