Offered for sale is a late model cable pull style bell housing for a Ford SROD 4 speed manual transmission behind a 200 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder. These are pretty rare & hard to find. They were used in Foxbody Mustangs, Capris, Fairmonts & Zephyrs from 1978 to 1980.
If you want to convert your earlier Ford to a late model SROD 4 speed without an adapter, then this is the bell housing you want. This is for use with a 136 tooth flat flywheel & a 9" diameter clutch, not the earlier recessed flywheel & 8" diameter clutch.
The Bronco block separator plate & 136 tooth flywheel are the same as the ones used on the Foxbody cars & are usually cheaper & easier to find.
The diaphragm style pressure plates used by the Foxbody cars are easier to find & have more holding power than the older finger style pressure plates.
Price is $250 & does not include shipping cost to your location. I am in Oklahoma City.
