Ford6 in a Rice truck?

Just out of curiosity...

Has anyone stuffed a 200 or 250 in an import 4x4? Would make for a perky 'yota...

I gave a 170 and small bell C4 to a friend with a Toyota 4X4 that he uses to haul wood. He said when the motor blows he'll put in the six. It'll be a good while if ever, though - those 2200RE motors aren't exactly weak.

The Castlemain Rod Shop (CRS)in Australia does a OZ 250 conversion to a Toyota Landcruiser. Very good swap. Engine is heaps lighter than the old blue-flame based Toymota donkey! Much more economical too.

If I may be permitted to display some ignorance here... Are Holden motors a unique Oz thing, or are they transplanted/modified North American motors?
