Do the new long tube headers fit the 200 with low mount starters in foxbodies with any problems? I know its says all motors, but in the pics it looks like its getting awfly close underneath with the high mount.

I'm not sure if it will fit with the low mount starter, but it might. I'll check it out and get back to you.

I picked up a batch of long tube headers today, dropped some off at Jet Hot, and will be taking some to the powder coater on Monday. I'm also going to offer an un-painted header for a short time. I don't like to keep to many around, that haven't been painted, as they start to rust (even with our low humidity). Once they start showing any signs, they're off to the paint shop.

I know you designed the head to match the exhaust ports of the aussi pacemaker headers, but since you no longer import them will the current aluminium heads be redesigned to match the headers such as the hookers made in the US????? Bill

I didn't see the option of an unpainted header on the Classic Inlines site. Will there be a discount on them over the prices already posted?

I was under the impression that all current header designs will fit the aluminum head.

Gene, the hookers bolt on, but 3-4 exhaust ports being vertical on the aluminium head there is about 1/8"at the top of the port that does not mate up to the hooker gasket.
Now i maybe wrong, cause i'm comparing an OZ exhaust gasket to the hooker gasket. Bill

I'll try to get some pics posted Sunday night or Monday, that show how the ports match up.

Unpainted headers will be discounted. I still need to up-date the site, but just haven't had time. I only got 4 hours of sleep over the past two days, as I was busy getting my display ready for the Mustang Nationals.

I would really appreciate if you did find out for me. I bought ceramic coated short tubes but the are extremely close to the starter to the point of having trouble fitting up without a port-a-power. Id like to sell my ceramic ones and get into long tubes if they fit that much better. If they dont i'll try to work with what i have.
