I ordered and recieved a header package from FSPP which Includes FSPP's Ceramic Coated Dual Out Header, and a bunch of other goodies. I am confused though All of the pictures showing coated parts are in a silvery color my headers are black, so are they coated or just High temp painted? I am confused

the black Is showing for the std header picture
go to coatings and it all shows silver. This is why I am confused.

If you bought regular headers and did not pay extra to get them Jet Hot coated they will be black.

The Jet Hot Coating is what gives the headers their silver color.

I ordered:

Product ID: PAK-A-HDR
Header Package

Details

Includes FSPP's Ceramic Coated Dual Out Header, FSPP Header Gasket, and Breslin Header Bolts.

If the black ones are not coated (I do not think they are) I know it was just a mess up and Mike will take care of it no problem, I was just trying to figure out which I got If it is coated, not painted I can install But I do not want to install if it is not coated and I figured coated are silvery

To best of my knowledge the ceramic coating and the jet hot coating is not the same.

I thought you could have black ceramic coating.

TimnMelinda, talked to Mike last nite and told him about your post and he said he would contact you when he gets back in town. He's up in denver for the Inliners International convention and inliner/flathead nationals and doesn't have access to a computer. Rich P.S. He apologied for any problems and will get it sorted out for you.

I'm home..... Trip was great, but not many Ford's up there. However, there was a front engine dragster with a inline Chevy. He ran 7.795 yesterday, which was the thrid fastest time of the day. Then backed it up with a 8 flat. The announcer said "those of you that think inlines can't be fast....... think again".

Anyway, Tim

Looks like I sent you painted (black) headers by accident. Send those back and I'll ship out the coated (silver) headers. Every so often, I screw up, as its not the first time I've did it. BTW, I'll pay for the return shipping too, just let me know how much it cost you. Sorry for the error.

Thanks Mike!

I wasnt worried about you making it good, heck I knew you would if there was a problem, I just did not wish to bolt them on if it was not right!
I am getting them boxed and sending them back to you will look forward to seeing the new package arrive when it is time!

Would of loved to see the runs you wrote of as well!

Tim
