Hey guys, I need a bit of advice. I have an issue whenever I fill up my tank gas gurgles out of the filler nozzle when the car is parked, it's as if the fuel pump is working in reverse. I lost a 1/4 tank yesterday. The guy I bought I from is most likely the culprit as he turned the filler so the you now pump from the bed. My suspicions are that he didn't bother or vented it incorrectly, or perhaps something is clogged. Has anyone out there have a similar experience, and if so what was the remedy?

moving the filler neck around doesnt help if the tank is not vented properly. remember that the filler neck doesnt end right at the tank, it actually goes down in the tank about an inch to prevent the very issue you have with a full tank, so it is also possible that they changed that as well, and you should just decide not to fill it all the way to the top.
