Fuel Pump Block Off Plate??

Which one fits the 200?? I cant remember if its the small block Ford one or not? Trying to get my new Summit electric pump installed for tomorrow nights test & tune...

if you can't get the plate in time, couldn't you just remove the arm? Not the cleanest looking electric fuel pump upgrade.....or is it?!

I used a sbc plate from the local auto parts store.

Geezer: I used a little chrome plate for BBC I bought down at AutoZone. Works great.

I'll try a small block Chevy one because thats the one I'm sure most auto parts stores will have in stock... :roll:

Just finished up the electric fuel pump install, new alternator and wired up the new DUI ignition module I'm trying out.

Leaving @ 4:00 so we'll see what happens tonite.

Didnt happen....

Drove all the way there and 5 miles south of the track it started to sprinkle. Was at the track for an hour in a rain delay before they called the T&T off for the night.

5 miles south of the track I drove out of the sprinkles and it was nice all the way home.... :roll: Thats what happens when you live so close to Lake Michigan I guess....

I'll try again in a week or so because I want to make a few passes before I start racing again on Saturdays.

All Ford small block's except Cleveland, 2.3L OHC, all small ford six's, IIRC all Mopar small and Big blocks, all small block Chevy's all use the same fuel pump block off plate.

Big Block Chevy and Ford Cleveland use the elongated slender one.

Most EGR valves also use same flange as the fuel pump's so the fuel pump block off plate can double to block off a EGR valve mounting flange...of course you would only do that to mount a newer emmisions head on a older car.

Wrong, the big block chevy, ford six , ford 289,302,351W all use the same fuel pump block off plate.

Doug, get one for a big block chevy & a felpro gasket #6579 will be fine, Bill

I recieved my fuel pump block off plate this morning. Its Mr Gasket part #5422

Description on package is it fits GM V8 & V6; Ford 289-351W.
