Where is the best place to get accurate reading for boost, I put my sender in the 3/8 hole in the new AL Head and it never showed anything and I know I have to be putting out at least 10 psi, what about the hat over the top of throttle body, is that a better place, or is my sender bad.

What 3/8" hole in the head?

Either use the carb hat or the intake manifold.
I personally use the intake manifold.

Go with what Will said, the intake seems to give a better reading of Vac and Boost. I put a fitting in my carb hat that sends signal to my fuel pressure regulator and my boost/vac gauge gets its signal from the intake.
