Good Deal?

I found a guy who has a rebuilt 78 head with new intake valves. It doesn't have a rocker arm. It would cost me $150 shipped.
I figure that I would buy new exhaust valves and whatever else it needs.
Is this a good deal? Also, does a 69 head have an adjustable rocker arm.
If it does, I could take that one of my head that I have now and put it on the rebuilt. What kind of advantages do you get with the adjustable arm over the non-adjustable? Is it really necassary?

doesn't sound all that rebuilt to me... :?
also, for what you're getting it sounds a bit much

Put it this way, I've bought and entire rebuilt 200 for $100.

For a head that needed work, I would only pay for the shipping because it'll cost another 50-75 for shipping.

That's the big log, big intake valve, hardened seat head with a 1¾" intake bore for the carby. It is cheaper than buying a head and rebuilding it yourself, but more info is needed:

Has it been used AT ALL since rebuild? Some people have a habit of calling a part "new" because they paid for the reco, but then used it themselves. I can't figure this.

Pictures?

What was done in the rebuild?

Is the seller a FordSix member? (Just curious. )
