Hi,
I put the H/W 5200 on today. I'm still working with the linkage I'm having a problem with it closing all the way. The idle is really fast and the idle screw is not touching anything. I worked all day and into the night trying to get it to work out. Still no luck. On the last drive tonight I didn't get the hood closed all the way and it poped up on me at 25 to 30 miles an hour. It closed but it is not right. I was too tired to see how much damage I've done.
But it still rocks. I can't believe the difference just the carb, the MSD and the with Dura Spark 2 have made. The MSD and Dura Spark really smoothed it out but the new carb rocks it. It pulls and pulls and pulls.
Well got to go to bed I'll start over next weekend. Got to get my 78 head tomorrow and a meet Slade to get a pilot bearing for the 4 cyl T-5 on Tuesday. If anyone has pics of how they did linkage with the 5200 and Clifford adaptor I would appreciate it.
