head bolts

hello everyone. Im a complete idiot lol :bang: . What happened was I changed out my lifters and push rods and decided to take the head up to the car wash and completely degrease it. Well heres the idiot part i accidently left the headbolts at the car wash and now they are gone. can anyone tell me what size the damn things are?

It's always better to use new head bolts. Old ones can get stretched.

Of course the best option is to install studs. It depends on what you're budget is.

well i was planning on just getting some grade 8 bolts. I was not going to use used bolts.

8) i wouldnt recommend that. grade 8 hardware store bolts are not the best thing to use in this application. the ARP bolts i linked to are specifically designed to handle the required torque, and the heat cycles and load that head bolts have to endure. dont cheap out on engine fasteners where there is a load involved. get automotive or aerospace quality bolts, they will save you money in the long run.
