HEAD DIFFERENCES

2 questions;
1-What is the difference between oz and american heads?
2- If there that good where can i find one?

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but I am new to inline sixs (normally a v8 fan but want to build a six for a daily driven 67' mustang).

Steve, you mean the "Aussie Head" or 2V as it's often called?

These are available through Mike "Az Coupe" on the Forum as well as that you can look on Ebay Australia and trademe.co.nz - but make sure you have done a budget on crating and shipping.

You must buy the head and intake manifold; also the cast iron exhaust manifold will not work - these heads have different shaped centre exhaust ports so you need headers.

All that said and done like any head they will benefit from strong underpinnings so you could always spend on headers, ignition, cam and trans first then look for one.
