Sorry for what might be an elementary question.
I did research on spacers but seems most are adding space between rad and fan to accommodate shroud - makes sense.
I have the opposite issue - very little space between fan and new rad (new rad thicker than old).
I removed factory spacer (way too long) and tried a .5 inch but still uncomfortably close to rad.
Can I just run the fan without a spacer? I don't see why not, it's clear of pully, hoses, alternator but wanted to check.
(Yes, I dont known why the PO ran the 2 belt pully. Not helping.)
