If I am purchasing a 67 headpipe to mount to a 68 manifold, should I use the flange and donut gasket for the 64-67 or 68-70?

The 68 exhaust manifold outlet is larger than the 67 on back.
You might want to use a 68 headpipe to take advantage of the larger manifold.
I believe there is a 1/4" difference in diameter of the manifold outlet & the 68 headpipe.
I would take advantage of the extra pipe diameter of the 68. Bill

Well I want to run the transverse exhaust on my 68, so I want to purchase the 67 pipes in order to do that.
