head gasket #'s?

what should I use for a head gasket on my turbo motor I am building? with 2.3l's I had no luck whatso ever using parts store felpro stuff (the cheaper gaskets) I always used a felpro 1035 on those ($50 a pop) but they are awesome gaskets. I was wondering who makes the best small six gasket for performance use. victor? better felpro?

What will your compression ratio be? That should be your determinate.

On a stock D78 head with a FelPro, for example, the CR comes out in the mid-to-high 7 range. The Victor left mine at 7.8:1 or so. Switching to the steel one raised mine to 8.2:1 and milling the head .010" more made it about 8.6:1 (or 9.2:1, before I smoothed out the combustion chambers and made the cc volume bigger).
