head gasket

just priced up a acl race series kit
for our 2v rebuild
it was about $600
to suite 200 rods
they said that they dont make a race series head gasket to suite
a 250 pre cross flow.
so we would have to get a std one.
just wondering if that would be alright to use
with about 10:5.1 comp?
Or is there any other alternatives besides going to something like a copper head gasket or o rings?
