header color preference

Clifford says they only have the black ceramic coated header in stock. If I want the polished ceramic, I will need to wait about 30 days. Any opinions on which looks better? is it just personal preference?

personal preference. I have the silver coated one, but it is up to you and how much of a hurry you are in. Or you could buy from someone else and send it somewhere to get it Jet Hot Coated, it might actually be cheaper than Clifford.

I like the silver (coated) ones. Don't the black ones turn red after a while?

I have a couple friends who got theirs jet hot coated. If you have any questions, i'll put you in contact with them.

My real preference was to use AZ_Coupe here in AZ. Unfortunately, that does not seem possible at the current time. I think I will wait for the polished from Clifford unless I can get headers elsewhere and have them sent to be coated.

I'm trying to remember from the previous post. Did you have a clearance issue with the Pacemaker Headers due to the A/C or the starter, or was it something else?
I seam to recall that Mike has stock, both coated and not.

I just found out from one of the members that the headers will not clear the big bell starter and tranny.

Pacemaker don't make a header to suit the low mount starter
