Just an FYI, I've had a Clifford header on order sense Oct 2021 and still no delivery date. I might cancel it and just build my own.
Bug him and send emails. I was in the same boat, but just got mine recently. It took several emails.

Are Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow mufflers worth the additional cost over the original 40 series?
I just finished installing the single out Scott drake header. With y pipe into 2 delta flows. I could not be happier. It sounds amazing. It increases the power. I recommend! I’ve also got the sniper 1100 kit. Next for me is brakes and 5 lug swap. Good luck

jeez, I'm goin the other way - 2 (from the 3'n 3 into 2) into one for a tucked up, out thru the rocker, 4 ft entire run, exhaust. The VI/CI headers will geta Y (2 into 1) at about the starter. I will puta heat shield down the foot well of the pass's side and over the muff. No rug in this off roader. Spray out bed liner. I saw those stamped Ys on the net as I may use it for my 3.8L bent6 essex station wagon ('85 fox LTD).

Did U get their H1?

Does a 120 hp 200 ci engine producing 20 hp per cylinder need a header with 1-1/2 inch pipes and or dual exhaust?
Does one cylinder producing 20 hp need a 1-1/2 inch header pipe?
Should hundreds of dollars be spent to create a problem in which the # 6 cylinder header pipe interferes with and or or overheats the starter?

I’m not drag racing. The improved throttle response and sound is worth it to me. Dual chrome tips on a classic mustang is my kind of fun. Also I have not experienced any starter issues so far. My goal is to do to the car what I like and enjoy it.

I just re-read post #45. It may look a lill arogant. I dont wanna put any one down. Experimenting is a good way 'to build personal science". Something I think all ppl should engage in. My major interests: save $, DIY. Both make it fun for me. I assume others are like that as well which is only true 10, 20% of the time.

Yes 😁

Let me expand. It's all about what the owner wants. There is a lot of things that don't make sense with what we do to our cars.

Just remember. Most V8 owners don't even think it is worth doing Anything to an inline.

A header will increase performance on log head six when it has a restrictive muffler. A 2" turbo muffler adapted to a 1-3/4" tailpipe will also increase performance on log head six when it has a restrictive muffler. Some of the old round Falcon mufflers had a small maybe 1-1/2" outlet.
A good exhaust system for a small or large log head is a 68 and newer 2" exhaust mainifold with 2" pipes and a 2" turbo muffler. A 2" exhaust system will support around 168 horsepower depending on who calculated the exhaust flow. The lowest hp rating I have read about for a 2" exhaust sytem is 148 hp. The 1971 Lincoln 460 had 365 hp and 500 lbs of torque. The exhaust manifold outlets and down pipes were 2". Just one 2" pipe and 4 cylinders produced a hell of a lot more power than a log head six with or without a header.

The there are the naive trusting new six owners who are led to believe that a header system will turn their log head six into a high performance engine. After installing a log head header system a typical comment on Youtube is "it's still slow" or "all bark no bite".

My log headed, full weight daily driver NA 200 ran 14.40-14.22 with open long tube headers that maths out to 195 hp ..So it would run that with no header?

If NA means natural aspirated you did good for a log head.
Less than one horsepower per cubic inch is nothing to brag about unless it's a log head six. I once paid $225.00 for a 71 460 lincoln, C6 and the radiator. I put it in a 72 Mustang. The only time I took it to the drags it turned 13.99 while pinging on a hot California day.

From what I have read and observed fordsix .com is a business forum for Vintage Inlines.
Fordsix .com is a business forum to promote V.I. products like the log six header.

Do you have a video of your Naturally Aspirated 200 turning a 14.40-14.22?
I was once on a Falcon forum where a guy posted 14 second a time slip.
I downloaded and posted a 10 second time slip to show how easy it was to produce a fast time slip.

I do not know if it is or is not. Why does it matter. It is still a free country and I see no misrepresented claims.
It is ford six .com, not save a buck.com.

I have no good way to prove it to you. I have been on this forum over 15 years and I do not think that anyone here would say that I am nothing but truthful, but you.
Not bragging just facts.
