Ken, what is your opinion on this header, if overlooking the welds... performance impact over oem mani? if you were in the market for a header again, would you instead bought the clifford or waited for fssp? I need this car done soon, not sure if I can wait for mike's!

Why not just go with the stock exhaust for a little bit of time and wait for mikes then? would make a little sense, i'm definitly waiting on mikes header cause its very well priced and i dont want long tube.

351 celi,
The header as a whole was a good piece. The flange is about 3/8 inch thick and the header bolts lined up perfectly. As I said, in my case, the collector flange hit the bellhousing. I didn't find that to be a problem, just odd. If you have A/C, the compressor will bolt on in the origional location, just have to figure out how to run the heater lines. My 250 had a little help with a milled head, 2bbl added, new valves, springs. After getting the car running, man a difference. The car runs great. The header didn't change the loudness of the car either. I didn't notice any 6 cylinder buzz either.
When adding the header, I had the head off and slid it right in.I would think it will be a little hard to install with the head in, you might have to loosen the motor mount on the passenger side and pull the engine toward the driver side to gain clearance.
I hope this helps,
Ken
