Help! Rocker arms don't line up

I have a 60 F100 223. I rebuilt the head, all new seats, new guides, new exhaust valves ect. I bought a new rocker shaft assembly off E-bay. I've got it all buttoned up but I noticed that about six of the rocker arms (random) do not line up with the valve tips. The edge of the rocker is right at the edge of the valve stem, all to the same side of the valve/rocker. I did notice the wear pattern on the old rockers was kinda random but some of these are way off. I hope I explained this properly. All the catalogues list int./exh. rockers as the same. What gives?

are they all off the same amount is the same direction?
You might take them off the shaft and start measuring each of them to see if you don'yhave 6 one size and 6 of another.

I would say they are fairly consistant, the ones that are right and the ones that are off. It is a random order though, some int. some exh.

Update: I had my machinist freind take a look. He didn't feel its was enough to worry about. "You're not running it at Indy, its a tractor motor fer Christ sakes. He did suggest swapping around some stands and rocker arms, which I did. Now the truck runs fine, what a difference running on all six cylinders makes.

Today I'll set the valves one more time and re-torque the head and give the old girl a bath.

I'm glad I kept the six.
