All Small Six Hesitation at cruise speed - Help!

This relates to all small sixes
I have a '65 Mustang with a 170 ci and have replaced the original points with a Petronix ignition. I've replaced the distributor, plugs, carb, alternator, coil, and other items like the vacuum and fuel lines. I timed it using a timing light and also made sure that the manifold pressure was in the green. It fires up immediately, smooth and responsive under load, but noticeable hesitation at a steady throttle. I have attached a report that I put together. My dad bought this car for my mother in April of 1964 (early model), and it means a great deal to me.

Yes a family owned Mustang like that is a big deal, nice that you have it. There are some really smart people on here that can get you going-I'm not one of them but they will show up soon. The only info I can offer is that your Mustang was probably equipped with the LOM distributor and the SCV carb which work together. Good idea to read up on these parts.
