Hey all, newish to the board. Have alot of tech experience, and been helping others out on the board already.

OK, Short and sweet...

HP of the 200? I thought it was 110, want to make sure. Ill get casting #s tomorrow, in case of variables.

Thanks, sorry if in wrong place.

Joe

Welcome!

The rating of most stock 200's from 1964 to 1983, was
about 65 hp at the rear wheels.

83 to 93 net at the flywheel with all ancillaries (exhast, air cleaner, alternator etc), corrected to sea level, run to simulate hot under hood temperatures,

or between 110 to 125 hp gross with all the gear stripped off, run at cooler temperatures.

Ratings after 1971 were net figures.

The emission gear didn't make a lot of difference. Ford started using better head which flowed more hp, electronic ignitions, bigger valves and better exhast headers in the 70's.

X has you covered, but I just wanted to toss this out, casting #s won't help much unless you know the internals are completely stock.
