Holley 1940

Hello ,
I have 1940 Holley on my 200ci and in few week , I change my exaust manifold by headers.
Is it possible to convert Holley automatic choke by electric choke ?

Yes you should be able too convert it over to electric with a parts kit. Depends On kit or parts you pick as many of the early electric chokes used on Holley & Autolite's also use a hot air stove tube from exhaust. So it might be easier to make or use an aftermarket kit to install hot air tube onto one of the header tubes and use with your existing choke. Good luck

A stove kit can be made with a short piece of ford brake line, a hose clamp and a tomato paste can. If you already have a piece of brake line the cost is negligible. If not it's still cheaper than spending the 12 bucks for a stove kit.

There's about 8 bucks. Most of us DIY'ers have a pack rat stash so deep it gets crazy, so the cost is usually zero, zip, nada. The can, well, cook some spaghetti
