I don't have the time to set up the EFI, so I'm just going to run DSII into a MSD 6 BTM ( and use the MSD-Duraspark connector for a clean install ), and use a 2300 2bbl ( 350 CFM ) now I know I have to remove choke plate, and get a few extra jets, but what else needs done, so the carb can hold 10 PSI? what PV to change to?

when you remove the choke housing form the sid eof the carb there is a vac port there that will need plugged. I think I tapped it for a small number sized screw (like a #10 or something) and put a small machine screw in it with some thread sealer. you will also need a solid float. but tha tpretty much does it. the rest is all in tuning.

good, that's what I ordered

being this is a B/N carb, will I still need new gaskets? I don't plan on dissasembling it all, only what I have to.

Factory, it was only ever a 1962 to pre 1972, non emission carb. Examples were
1) some 1962-1965 287 and 327 AMC's,
2) the 1963-1972 IHI/International 345,
3) 1965-1967 427 Shelby Cobra or Total Performance optioned 289/302/390/427/428 Ford,
4) as part of a 'triple duces' 1968-1970 427 Chev,
5) as part of a 1968-1970 Mopar 340 or 440 'six pack',
6) as a standard replacement Holley list for Ford's with the Autolite 2100. Motorcraft 2150, ie 2V 260, 289, 302, 351, 390, 400 from 1962 to 1976.

The term 2300 is something of a misnomer. It started off as a 280 cfm but in triple carb installations, it got the 5 1/8" air horn shaved off an called a 2280. It then ended up as the 2300 series in 350 or 500 or rare 650 cfm. It does have an emissions compliant version, the ultra rare #9117 320 cfm Economizer ( a piece of junk with old style float bowl)

Thanks for the info, I have only been on this Forum for a week and now I think I need to sell all of my other toys, Go buy a 1960 2 door Falcon and build a little turbo car for the summer, Stock block with some head studds, Water/meth snow kit, Slam it and drive the piss out of it.
