How do you put NOS on a 200

Turns out I was approaching this the wrong way. I wasn't aware that the fittings on the injector plate could be removed, there seemed to be some sort of epoxy...it turned out it was only teflon paste  ...they came out real easy...all I had to do was to replace these fittings with a 90 degree adaptor and then the fittings (which hold the jets). I took some pics, but I still need to find a better way to mount the solenoids...but my major concern was the VC clearance...and I didn't even had to touch my new VC...

Cool stuff Alex!!!

Do you have a better picture of the modfied intake?? (without the nitrous plate)

Is that just 1/4" plate steel mig welded to the intake??

What hp nitrous are you going to run??

P.S....I saved all the pics for future referance

Thanks!

Ok, So i have been reading this thread...
And I was planning on getting a 2bbl carb real soon.. and eventually nitrous.

My question is, don't you need the 2bbl adaptor somewhere along the line? or am I completely wrong.

What exactly do you need, carb induction wise?

The enlargement of the intake hole didn't go as smooth as I would have hoped....there is a bolt off the EGR that portrudes into the intake opening...
As far as the adaptor, basically all I did was mix some epoxy putty and then bolt the adaptor plate to the head....to seal it up.

When you bolt on the N20, make sure you don't use teflon tape. The makers use some other kind.

I've heard, from Aussie firm Maddenitrous in 1991, that the teflon tape can cause serious nitrous backfires or lean-outs if it gets caught in the system. Check this out from the suppliers help line before you start your machine in ernest!

XE you have very good sight ! I used the tape just so I wouldn't damage the threads because I haven't found a place here that sells teflon paste...don't worry I don't plan on using it on my system when it's running it can clog the solenoids and cause a nitrous rich condition (lean out)...but thanks for your concern.....
