Turns out I was approaching this the wrong way. I wasn't aware that the fittings on the injector plate could be removed, there seemed to be some sort of epoxy...it turned out it was only teflon paste
...they came out real easy...all I had to do was to replace these fittings with a 90 degree adaptor and then the fittings (which hold the jets). I took some pics, but I still need to find a better way to mount the solenoids...but my major concern was the VC clearance...and I didn't even had to touch my new VC...
