How to tell 170ci from 200ci

I just bought a 1965 econoline p/u and i thought it had a 200ci i6 in it but the vin on the door is telling me that it is a 170ci i6. It could have been swapped out but im not sure. Is there any easy or hard way to tell them apart?

170=3 frost plugs
200=5 frost plugs
The frost plugs are on the left side of the block if your looking at the front of the motor straight on.

The exception would be the 170 from my 1970 Maverick, it has 5 frost plugs.
