Actually I did look for overdrive add on units a few yrs back that you could plug into the back of your transmission. Doesnt matter what kind of transmission. The unit is nothing more than a industrial gear reducer set up to accept a drive line yoke. When I looked at them, I thought they were outrageously expensive and dropped the notion of having that. The original manual transmissions with overdrive are all gone. Cant find one anywhere, and most folks who do have them are all looking for a working solenoid to operate them. Bleh. I'll pass on that.
