Well i dont have a carb tag on this guy so i need to know if there are any casting numbers that are on the carb i can use to tell what i have. Im perty shure its an Autolite. Its on a 64 223.
IF it is the original OEM carb is will be an Autolite 1101. I will have a SCV. There are no marking that I know of that consistently ID these carbs, other than the ID tag.
The 1101 and 1100 look very much alike externally. To verify, remove the carb and measure the throttle bore. It should measure 1 11/16". An 1100 will only be 1 7/16".
