I think I found a good ballancer

I was poking around the Wrecking yard and pulled a single shif harmonic ballancer from a 71 Mav... I want to use it on my 200 in my falcon to gain some space and to have a newer maybe better ballancer..

My question is: Should the keyway line up with the timing mark ? I ask because this one doesn't...

It looks like its in very good shape. So I hope its a keeper.

Hi Frank,

The only input I can give you is that on my 250 I-6, the keyway is not aligned with the timing mark on the pulley.

You can always re-mark the timing marks to TDC after it is installed.

what good is remarking the timing mark if the outside is loos from the inside...I think this one is a good one..thanks for the reply.
