what piping and what would i have to do to run a turbo on a 200. your help would be great. im also going to run the fordsix.com package deal.

CraigS is the furthest down the line with a turbo 2V. Maybe shoot him a PM.

I was going through some old mustang mags (yeah, I keep all of them!) and I came across an article that mentioned a turbo kit for the 200. I think the guy who made them was Ak Miller. Not positive, though. I'll dig it out and look up the references this weekend.

8) ak miller and gale banks have done alot with turbos over the years. as for what pipe to use, feed the turbo with a 2" pipe minimum, and use a
2 1/2" pipe leaving the turbine.

My turbo is a GM/Garret unit from a 231 (3.8L) V6. I am running 2.25" pipe from the exhaust outlet to the turbo and 2.25" from the turbo out the back. Mostly because that is the size that fed the turbo from the factory. If I need to I will change it for this application. As for my status, I have everything plumbed up. Recently build an engine stand that I can run the motor on, out of the vehicle. Ran the engine for break-in of the cam without the turbo, just a 500 CFM holley on the 2v manifold. Didn't want to take a chance with a backfire thru the turbo or any other problems on break-in. Now I have about 30 mins on the engine (250 with a 2V by the way), and am ready to plumb the turbo back in and see what happens. Not ready to run it on the street, yet, as the vehicle is a '66 Bronco and is in the process of a frame-off resto. Guess I need to take some pictures and post them......
