Ignition cutting out at low RPM

Got a problem with my ute. When backing off fron low RPMs to just above idle the engine occasionally stutters and sometimes dies. I originally thought it was ign probs but am now looking towards the carby. I have replaced the module on the dizzy the coil and the coil lead, all connections are tight and the problem is still the same. I am running the XE F electronic distributor and a weber ADM34 carby.. Timing light keeps on flashing when motor is dying indicating spark is still there.. Any help appreciated..

make sure you have 12Volts to the idle air bleed on the weber. to check this, just turn the ignition on with motor off and conect and disconect the wire. you will hear a click if it is working. if not this could be your problem.

Thanks xrglen I have checked that out and it is all working fine. I should also note that while cruising you will get an occasional dead spot. It's really weird like a momentary lapse of ignition or something. Tried lots of different things today and it's still happening. I haven't totally stripped the carb apart yet but that may be next.. :!:
Cheers Dan
